METHOD FOR CURING POLYTITANOSILOXANE

PURPOSE:To obtain a cured polytitanosiloxane, having a high strength and good in solvent and heat resistances. CONSTITUTION:This method for curing a polytitanosiloxane comprises reacting and curing a polytitanosiloxane containing a unit expressed by the formula R<1>aR<2>(3-a)SiO1/2 (R<1> is an alkenyl group; R<2> is a monovalent organic group; (a) is an integer of 0-3), a unit expressed by SiO4/2 and a unit expressed by TiO4/2 as essential constituent components in the presence of a platinum-based catalyst and an organopolysiloxane having hydrogen atoms bound to silicon atom or an organic peroxide. The sum total of the components in the polytitanosiloxane is >=80mol% based on the whole.
