<p>PURPOSE:To heat an adsorbent in a vessel from outside the vessel when the adsorbent is regenerated by providing a highly heat-conductive heating member projecting from the inner wall toward the center of the vessel in the vessel. CONSTITUTION:An inlet 3 for a gas to be treated is provided at the lower part of the cylindrical vessel 2 of an adsorber 1, and a treated gas outlet 4 and an adsorbent charging port 5 are furnished at the upper part. A highly heat-conductive heating member 9 of aluminum, stainless steel, etc., is fixed to the inner wall of the vessel 2 by welding, etc., and protruded toward the center of the vessel. When the adsorbent is heated and regenerated, an electric heater 6 around the shell of the vessel 2 is actuated, and the heat is transmitted to the center of the vessel 2 through the member 9. Accordingly, the adsorbent packed in the vessel 2 is sufficiently, uniformly and easily heated to the regeneration temp.</p> |
