The radial tire for increasing the water discharging ability and braking ability when running on the wet road surface and reducing the noise when running on the dry road surface, has a wide, and deep main groove(1) circumferentially formed at the center of the tread, and a plurality of blocks at the tread. The blocks(2, 3) at the tread are slanted from the both shoulders(A, B) to the main groove(1). Long and short blocks(2, 3) are alternately arranged and the ends of the blocks(2, 3) are cross-linked at the main groove(1).
