PURPOSE:To prevent setting of an erroneous speed pattern due to an erroneous operation of a crew in a train in which an automatic train stopping unit for generating two different speed patterns is disposed. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle 3 travels at a leading vehicle, a contact 17a of first setting means 17 outputs a forward vehicle signal by 'close', and generates a rearward vehicle signal by 'close' at a contact 18b of second setting means 18. A first automatic train stopping unit 7 receives a signal exhibition by the forward and rearward vehicle signals, generates a first speed pattern. The unit 7 outputs a brake command when the sped of the trail 6 exceeds the first pattern, and decelerates it at a predetermined deceleration, and hence can stop it up to a predetermined stopping position without insufficient brake force. |
