摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a sufficient display characteristic with a lower power consumption even when a liquid crystal panel to be driven is made to have a large area and to be of high definition. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is provided with shift registers 1n-1n+3 shifting the scan data Dn-1 synchronizing with a shift clock, latches 2n-2n+3 temporarily holding the scan data Dn-Dn+3 of the shift registers 1n-1n+3 and output circuits 3n-3n+3 amplifying the output data of the latches 2n-2n+3 and outputting them as electrode drive voltages driving corresponding scan electrodes of the liquid crystal panel. Power source switches 4n-4n+3 are made to be in the on-state at the rise of the scan data Dn+1-Dn+2 of the shift registers 1n-1-1n+2 of the poststage, and supply power source to the output circuits 3n-3n+3 through a power source bus line 5, and are made to be in the off-state at the rise of the scan data Dn+1-Dn+4 of the shift registers 1n+1-1n+4 of the preceding stage, and the supply of the power source from the power source bus line 5 to the output circuits 3n-3n+3 is stopped.
