PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by turning on a power supply of a main reception section in a prescribed timing and turning off the power supply for the main reception section when received data are for data other station than those of a concerned station. CONSTITUTION:The power supply of a transmission section 1 and a main reception section 2 is turned on/off under the control of a main control section 6. An electric field strength measurement section 14 of the main control section measures the electric field strength of a received wave depending on the state of a received radio wave from a word reception section 22 and gives the result to a protocol processing section 16. The processing section 16 compares the level of the radio wave with a reference electric field strength level stored in advance in a memory control section 5 via an electric field strength specified value input processing section 13 in cooperation with an electric field strength processing section 15 to discriminate the result. When the electric field strength is discriminated to be a prescribed electric field strength or over, received data from a reception section 22 are analyzed, and a power supply control section 3 is controlled based on the result to turn off the power supply for the main reception section 2. When the data from the reception section 22 are for a concerned station, the reception from the main reception section 2 is continued while the power supply is kept tuned on. |
