Axial force conductor for marine engine drive fittings

The axial force conductor is designed so that external axial forces pass directly through the drive. It has an axial bearing, not radially supported, and acting in one or both longitudinal directions of the shafts. The bearing is between a primary shaft (1) linked to the axial-force propulsion unit (29), and a secondary shaft (11). The secondary shaft conveys the axial force to the pressure point of the marine engine (30) drive. The bearing is in the reduction gear (26). It compensates for possible linear expansion of the primary and secondary shafts, and is fitted between shaft flanges (2,16).
