PURPOSE: To hold rigidity of a tire horizontal direction, to eliminate unnecessary space within a main body and to prevent unnecessary energy consumption by alternately arranging notches and opening parts extending by passing through a reinforcing insert in parallel in a strip-shaped part of the reinforcing insert. CONSTITUTION: A strip 8 constituting a belt-shaped reinforcing insert 7 provided under a tread extends in the circumferential direction of a tire and strip-shaped or rectangular openings 9 are provided. These openings 9 extend by partially passing through the reinforcing insert 7 and are arranged in rows. In these rows, the openings 9 are alternately arranged in parallel in a horizontal direction. Adjacent openings 9 are sectioned by webs 10, and longitudinal direction elastic stretching, pre-load possibility, a restoring action and compression of the strip 8 are produced by opening cuts 9a at an end 11 of the strip 8. Therefore, formation of tear of the tire and damage of local deformation are difficult to be generated and unnecessary energy consumption can be prevented. |
