The invention relates to a loading system (4, 5, 6) for automatic loading of continuously operating through-passage systems (1) with strings of sausages. A V-shaped conveyer belt (5) is arranged above a transport belt, the latter being fitted with baskets (6) aligned at right angles to the direction of travel, and parallel to the baskets' axis (2). At least one other transfer basket (6) is provided between the V-shaped conveyer belt (5) and the transport belt (2).
