CONSTITUTION:The doctor blade 15 of the developing unit 4 generates friction heat when it is brought into slide contact with a toner or a developing roller 12 at the time of development. When the heat quantity generated by this friction is small, most of the friction heat is radiated from the doctor blade 15, and the doctor blade 15 is kept at a low temperature. As the heat quantity generated by the friction is increased, the ratio of the heat quantity conducted to a heat sink 21 is increased. The heat sink 21 has a high heat conductivity and a large surface area, the heat from the doctor blade 15 can be efficiently discharged to the outside, and the temperature rise of the doctor blade 15 due to the friction heat can be suppressed. |
