<p>PURPOSE:To provide a path management method in ATM-LAN capable of unitarily managing all routers and ATM exchanges constituting the ATM-LAN. CONSTITUTION:Path management information inside a path control service PCS1 is inputted and updated beforehand corresponding to the constitution change of the ATM-LAN, new routing information and connection information are respectively obtained from the updated path management information for the respective routers requiring the new setting change of PVC and the corresponding ATM exchanges and the routing information and the connection information inside the routers R1-R4 and the ATM exchanges SW1 and SW2 are set through communication channels C1-C4 and C11 and C12.</p> |
