<p>PURPOSE:To provide the safe carrying device which doesn't collide with human bodies in the periphery. CONSTITUTION:A pyroelectric infrared sensor is attached to the center of the front of a carrying device 11 as a human body detecting sensor 12. A human body detection area 13 of this sensor 12 covers a range longitudinally spreading at 70 deg. and transversely spreading at 70 deg. and the sensor 12 accurately detects the human body before the device 11 is moved in a wide area. This infrared sensor 12 and the carrying device 11 are interlocked with each other; and if a human body is detected in the front of the device 11 by the infrared sensor 12, the speed of the device 11 is reduced or it is stopped. Since the human body is detected in real time while the carrying device 11 moves, it is discriminated whether the human body moves or not and its moving direction is discriminated also, and the device is moved in the direction where there are no persons.</p> |
