Separable board for wind surfer or surf board

The board has a hull with at least three separate components, joined by connections which all lie in a horizontal plane, and which prevent the transmission of torque. The forward (1) and rear (2) parts of the hull have a diagonal plane of separation (4). The side components (3) are of similar length to the front or rear part, and provide stiffness against bending at the joint. The components are all screwed together in a single action, and the screw (6) can be guided with minimal free play through a transverse sleeve (7). Boards in which the diagonal join is stepped, and the screw fixing has more than one part and does not directly secure all the hull sections, are also discussed.
