<p>Methods of reducing the serum cholesterol level of a mammal and causing carcinoma regression and inhibition are disclosed. One administers an effective amount of perillyl alcohol or perillic acid methyl ester. The use of perillic acid methyl ester is disclosed. Various pharmaceutical compositions involving perillyl alcohol and perillic acid methyl ester are also disclosed.</p> |
