FIELD OF VIEW-SELECTIVE PROPYLENE RESIN FILM AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To so as to provide selectively only an incident light with a specified angle scatter and provide a uniform and high selectively on field of view by bending a propylene resin film with a specified molecular orientation almost in parallel with the molecular orientation, at least at an angle and locally and forming thereby a stripe-like craze. CONSTITUTION:A propylene resin film 1 with a birefringence in the range of 1-14X10<-3> is held under a stretched condition in a field of a view-selective propylene resin film manufacturing apparatus 7. Namely, the face of a propylene resin film 1 held under the stretched condition is brought into contact with a supporting body 2 with a right angle apex part almost in parallel with the molecular orientation direction and the film 1 is partly bent thereby by stretching the film in the arrow mark direction and a craze is formed in the film 1 by forming a bending deformation region with the bending angle of at least 120 deg.. Thereafter, the film is relatively gradually moved and wound to form a continuous stripe-like craze region in the direction being perpendicular to the moving direction.
