<p>PURPOSE:To provide a grommet for which a filling agent pouring work is carried out easily with lessened amount of the agent to be poured and whose installation condition in a diaphragm can be stabilized. CONSTITUTION:A grommet is one to be installed while a wire harness W being inserted into a through hole 10a in a diaphragm 10 in water-proofing condition and the grommet is composed of an outer member 11 and an inner member 12. A joining groove 11c to be joined to the circumferential edge of the through hole 10a is formed in the outer circumferential face of the outer member 11. The inner member 12 is a cylinder to be inserted into the inside of the outer member 11. Both are made of elastic materials and the inner diameter of the outer member 11 is equal to or smaller than the outer diameter of the inner member 12. The inside of the inner member 11 is previously filled with a filling agent 13 and the agent is hardened while a wire harness W being inserted into and the inner member 12 into which the wire harness W is inserted in water-proofing condition is inserted into the outer member 11 by pressure and fixed in the outer member 11.</p> |
