<p>A headset comprising two speakers (9, 10) each mounted in a housing and connected to a lead, the housings being linked by an arcuate headband. The housings and the headband are made of a generally U-shaped single piece of resilient moulded plastic (1) with a recess at each end, of which the open side faces a transverse plane, the lead being protected by a flexible tube formed by spirally winding a metal strip of which one end is secured to the single plastic piece (1). A method for making the headset is also disclosed.</p> |
