The invention relates to a hot-melt adhesive which comprises a mixture of: a) 20 - 60 % by weight of non-adhesive (meth)acrylate-(meth)acrylic acid copolymers which contain (meth)acrylate units having 2 - 8 carbon atoms in the alcohol component and, based on these copolymers, 1 - 10 % by weight of (meth)acrylic acid, having a melting point in the range from 115 to 150 and a Fikentscher K value in the range from 70 to 110 (measured in accordance with DIN 51562 in tetrahydrofuran), b) 10 - 50 % by weight of self-adhesive acrylate-acrylic acid copolymers which contain acrylate units having 2 - 8 carbon atoms in the alcohol component and, based on these copolymers, 1 - 10 % by weight of acrylic acid, having a glass transition temperature TG in the range from -45 to -10 DEG C, a Fikentscher K value in the range from 70 to 120 (measured in accordance with DIN 51562 in tetrahydrofuran) and a softening point in the range from 50 to 100 DEG C, and c) 10 - 50 % by weight of polyethylene having an average molecular weight of 1000 - 10000, and optionally conventional additives. It is suitable for the production of hot-melt adhesive tapes for paper, which can be employed for restoring and preserving paper substrates.
|
