PURPOSE:To increase drivabiity by speed change which responds to the driver's expectation of acceleration at a high level irrespective of the traveling conditions such as ascending road, flat road, etc., in a speed change ratio control device of an automatic transmission in which accelerator operation amount information referred to the speed change control is corrected by an accelerator operation speed. CONSTITUTION:A speed change ratio control device for automatic transmission is provided with a traveling load estimation means (e) to estimate a traveling load, an accelerator operation correction amount setting means (f) to set the accelerator operation correction amount relative to an accelerator operation speed to a larger correction amount as the traveling load is larger, and a corrected accelerator amount calculation means (g) to calculate the corrected accelerator operation amount by the accelerator operation amount detection value from an accelerator operation amount detection means (b) and the accelerator operation correction amount set by the accelerator operation correction amount set means (f). |
