PURPOSE:To make an image forming device possible to form satisfactory image on transfer paper even if the condition of the transfer paper has been changed due to toner removal, in the case of forming an image on the transfer paper from which toner is removed. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an image forming part 8 which forms a prescribed toner image on the transfer paper 1 carried by a paper carrying means by an electrophotographic process, a regist means which feeds the transfer paper 1 by the use of the paper carrying means in synchronism with the image forming operation of the image forming part 8, and a fixing part 14 which fixes the toner image transferred to the transfer paper 1 by the image forming part 8. The condition of the transfer paper 1 which is fed to the image-forming part 8 in recycled paper-use mode is detected by a condition detecting means, and the operations of the paper carrying means, regist means, image forming part 8, and fixing part 14 are controlled based on the result of the detection. Thus, the image formation is satisfactorily carried out even on the transfer paper whose condition has been changed due to the toner removal. |
