A wiper blade comprising a wiper arm with a fastening flange (12) connected to one member (14) of a wiper arm supporting assembly which comprises a substantially upside-down U-shaped open fastening ring (44) fitted over the flange (12). Said flange (12) comprises at least one longitudinal channel (28) engaged by a reinforcing rod (24) in the form of a horizontal reinforcing plate of which one outer side edge (32) includes a locking catch (38) to be engaged by a locking member (62). The vertical arm (46) of the fastening ring (44) comprises a recess (60) with its open side facing the outer side edge (32) of the reinforcing rod (24) for receiving a vertical locking pin (62) which partially projects across the opening (60) of the recess and engages the locking catch (38) in the rod (24).
