CONSTITUTION:When the synchronizing signal 11 and video signal 12 sent out by a host system 1 can not be detected, a control means 8 sends out an alarm tone signal 82 to an alarm means B to generate an alarm and sends out a control signal 81 to stop the operation of a power supply means 9 unless a sensor 6 senses an infrared-ray level 51 radiated by the operator 5 at a specific position from a display means 4 while an electric power saving means A stops power supply Al to the display means 4 from the power supply means 9 for a power saving time 71 set with a parameter 7, and then places the power supply means 9 in operation again once the sense means 6 senses the operator 5, so that the device is put back into its initial state.</p> |
