<p>PURPOSE:To improve the coating property of a magnetic coating material and to improve electromagnetic transducing characteristics, especially video S-N ratio, chroma output and chroma S-N ratio. CONSTITUTION:A 1st magnetic layer 2 and a 2nd magnetic layer 4 are laminated and a polyurethane resin having tert. amine as polar groups, this resin and a curing agent, polyurethane resin having tert. amine as polar groups and amine modified vinyl chloride resin, or these resins and a curing agent are used as the binder of the lower 1st magnetic layer 2. Carbon black having a specified average particle diameter is incorporated into the 1st magnetic layer 2. The objective magnetic recording medium capable of high quality recording and reproduction over a long time even in a severer environment is obtd. and satisfactory electric resistance, light transmissivity and running durability can be ensured even in the case of no back coat layer.</p> |
