<p>PURPOSE:To increase the degree of mounting freedom of a magnetic-tape-cartridge conveyance device in which a magnetic tape cartridge is conveyed between a readout part and a housing part and to realize the excellent versatility of the conveyance device. CONSTITUTION:A conveyance part 2 is supported so as to be capable of being turned freely within a prescribed range in the direction of an arrow H while a horizontal shaft 1a installed at a base stand part 1 is used as a fulcrum. The range in which the conveyance part can be turned is from a first inclination position which is matched to a cartridge insertion and detachment direction with reference to a housing part up to a second inclination position which is matched to a cartridge insertion and detachment direction with reference to a readout part. As means by which the turning angle of the conveyance part 2 is controlled so as to be set to the first and second inclination positions, a cylindrical cam 21 which has a groove 21a in a prescribed shape at the outer circumferential face, a coupling part 22 which is installed at one end of the conveyance part 2 and which is coupled to the groove 21a and cam drive means (a motor 3, gears 24, 25, 26 which transmit its rotational driving force to the cam 21, and the like) which turn and drive the cam 21 and which change the upper and lower positions of the coupling part 22 are provided.</p> |
