PURPOSE:To provide a technique which needs no pressurizing means for a tire mold divided horizontally into two. CONSTITUTION:A tire vulcanizing press has a flange part 13a provided at an outer peripheral part of an upper heating platen 13 having a top force portion Mb mounted on its lower face, a flange part 21a provided at an outer peripheral part of a lower heating platen 21 having a bottom force portion Mc mounted on its upper face, a plurality of segments 17 having upper and lower protrusions 17a, 17b which are engaged with the flange parts 13a, 21a when a mold is closed, and a moving means adapted to move the segments 17 in synchronism with one another in a radial direction. |
