PURPOSE:To provide an automatic control device for the cable position in the continuous bridging system of catenary type so that a rubber/plastic insulated cable to be cooled in a bridging pipe is held concentrically in its center. CONSTITUTION:A control device is composed of a tension pickup(TP) 15, an amplifier/calculator 16 for the measured tension value, and a drive amplifier 17 for a motor 12 to drive a tensioning roller(TR). The TP 15 measures the tension of the cable, converts it into a signal, and emits the result as the output. The amplifier/calculator 16 fed with the measurement signal calculates the deviation from the reference tension value and emits the result as a control signal. The drive amplifier 17 fed with the control signal rotates the tensioning roller 13 with the aid of the motor 12 either in the regular or reverse direction until the deviation nullifies, and thereby a cable 9 is held in the center of a bridging pipe 10. |
