The cable driven window actuator has at least one guiding slide (1), on which an element (3) is guided, being connected to the cable (2) and to the window glass. A fibrous covering on at least one element and/or sliding surface (7) between the element and slide. The fibrous covering takes the form of a flaked fibre such as cotton and/or plastics, rayon, polyamide, polyester and/or acrylic, and can be fixed via adhesives or melting its fibres on the plastics element.
