The apparatus comprises a tone generating unit for decoding a telephone number dialed from a telephone or a key operating unit of a facsimile; a first memory for outputting a corresponding local number and a charge data corresponding to a unit time of the local area depending upon a value decoded from the tone generating unit; a timer for counting a call start time during a call and a call end time; a second memory for storing the call time counted in the timer and a corresponding local area charge outputted from the first memory; a crystal display unit for displaying charge data accumulatively counted in the second memory, the telephone number outputted from the first memory, and the charge data per time according to a key signal of the key operating unit.
