The suspension and anchoring device is made as a casting and consists of a rod, the lower end of which has a cardanically movable fastener. The element is a cap nut with a hole in the cap itself to receive a nail or other fastening device. The hole in the cap nut is so dimensioned that the allowance of play for the nail suffices to permit a degree of cardanic movement.
