CONSTITUTION:This method for producing N-carbamyl-L-tert-leucine is to react a microbial cell of a microorganism, having the ability to convert DL-5-tert- butylhydantoin into the N-carbamyl-L-tert-leucine and belonging to the genus Bacillus or its treated substance with the DL-5-tert-butylhydantoin.
