PURPOSE:To produce a small particle diameter-toner capable of keeping excellent picture image quality over an extremely long period in a high yield. CONSTITUTION:A dispersing solution for producing toner is for producing the toner particle by dispersing and granulating a solution, which is obtained by dissolving or dispersing a toner material containing a binder resin and a coloring agent in an organic solvent capable of dissolving the binder resin, in a water- based dispersing solution and contains calcium triphosphate obtained by allowing sodium triphosphate to react with calcium chloride in an alkaline water-alcohol medium as a dispersion stabilizing agent.
