PURPOSE:To attain re-transmission with a simple operation by selecting automatically documents of transmission objects whose transmission is not finished even when documents are managed under a hierarchical structure. CONSTITUTION:The automatic facsimile delivery equipment delivering documents managed under a hierarchical structure to a destination indicated by a destination list in terms of a facsimile signal uses a transmission management means 100 to generate and manage the transmission management information managing the result of transmission indicating end or unfinished transmission of documents corresponding to a destination list under a hierarchical structure and a retrieval means 202 retrieves a document of a transmission object from a storage means 201 based on the transmission management information. Then an image data conversion means 203 converts the document of the transmission object obtained through the retrieval result into a form sent by a facsimile signal, and a facsimile transmission means 204 transmits converted data to a destination indicated in the destination list. Then the transmission result of the transmission management information is updated depending on the finished, unfinished facsimile transmission and the transmission object whose transmission is not finished is transmitted again to a corresponding destination based on the updating. |
