PURPOSE:To shorten the overall time required for data conversion and display as the wait time from user's request of picture data to the start of display by transferring blocks in convertable units from a server after data conversion by a means, which converts data divided into block units, and a means which transfers data in block units. CONSTITUTION:In the client server system where the conversion processing of shared data is performed by a server 1, the server 1 displays data divided into block units on clients 3 to 6. That is, a divisional read part 11 and a divisional processing control part 17 control the size of blocks to be divided for divisional conversion processing, the transfer timing of converted data to clients 3 to 6, etc., when data stored in a storage device 2 connected to the server 1 is converted in accordance with specifications of clients 3 to 6. Clients 3 to 6 receive first data more quickly because of divisional processing, and the server 1 starts the next block processing more quickly. |
