PURPOSE:To balance currents among other normal power sources and carry on parallel operation without being affected by a power source at a stop by comparing the output currents of parallel power sources with a mean current, and controlling and balancing the respective output currents. CONSTITUTION:For example, when the output currents 1a and 1b of the parallel- connected power sources 100a and 100b are larger than the mean current (1a+1b)/2, error amplifiers 15a and 15b for comparison and detection generate low-level outputs at their output terminals to lower the reference voltage in an output voltage stabilizing circuit, thereby balancing the output currents la and lb of the power sources 100a and 100b. Even if one of the parallel power sources 100a and 100b stops, the total current (1a+1b) is supplied continuously to a load 29, so a reference voltage source connected to the uninverted input terminal of the amplifier provided in the other normal power source does not disappear and the output currents 1a and 1b of the power sources 100a and 100b are compared with the mean current of (n-1) power sources to continue the operation. |
