<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deactivation of the nitration bacteria and to obviate the deterioration of a waste water treating device. CONSTITUTION:A detector 28 such as a potentiometer for detecting the oxidation-reduction potential of a liq. absorbent 2 is provided on the delivery side of a circulating pump 3. Meanwhile, a tank 29 for storing a soln. of a compd. 26 contg. manganese, a pump 30 to introduce the soln. in the tank 29 into the reservoir 1 of an absorption tower 5, a valve 31 for controlling the flow rate of the soln. to be introduced into the reservoir 1 from the pump 30 and a controller 34 for detecting the flow rate of the soln. and outputting an opening degree command signal 33 to the valve 31 based on the signal 32 from the detector 28 are also furnished. Consequently, a feeder 27 capable of adjusting the flow rate of the soln. to be introduced into the reservoir 1 of the tower 5 by the pump 30 based on the signal 32 from the detector 28 and capable of keeping the oxidation-reduction potential of the absorbent 2 within allowable limits is constituted.</p> |
