<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a biodegradable commodity composed of a member body of desired shape made of a biodegradable material and a specific film, usable with satisfied performance and quality throughout its normal service life, helpful to natural environmental protection, and useful as e.g. a fishing commodity. CONSTITUTION:This biodegradable commodity is composed of (A) a member body of desired shape made of a biodegradable material such as PVA or polylactic acid and (B) a film such as of polyethylene terephthalate, formed on the surface of the member body, capable of retarding the biodegradation of the member body by a specified period of time, and debondable or degradable under the service environment or natural environment. It is preferable that the film B be made of a material having a degradation rate lower than that of the biodegradable material A.</p> |
