<p>PURPOSE:To properly control an engine output drop at all times for the alleviation of a one-way clutch engagement shock during a down-shift gear change on timing just suitable for actual gear change operation. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission 2 is controlled with a controller 9 for a gear change via solenoids 6 and 7, and an engine 1 is controlled with a controller 12. This controller 12 causes engine output drop control to start, upon receipt of a signal S during a down-shift gear change involving a one-way clutch engagement shock, for alleviating the shock, when a rotation ratio (No (X)GI/Ne) resulting from the division of the multiplication of a transmission output speed No and an after-gear change ratio G1 by an engine speed Ne, drops to a preset value. The engine output drop control is completed in the preset time after the start thereof.</p> |
