PURPOSE:To provide the semiconductor laser array recording device which is improved in the output control precision of individual LDs. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a 1st beam splitting means 3 which splits two projection beams A and B projected by two light emission parts 1a and 1b of a semiconductor laser array 1 into beams A1 and B1 for output control, a condenser lens 4 which converges the two beams A1 and B1 for output control split by the 1st beam splitting means 3, and a 2nd beam splitting means 21 which splits the beams A1 and B1 for output control converged by the condenser lens 4; and photodetecting elements 5a and 5b are arranged on the individual converged light paths of the beams A1 and B1 for output control which are split by the 2nd beam splitting means 21, and the device is provided with light emission output control means 6a and 6b which controls the light emission outputs of the individual light emission parts 1a and 1b of the semiconductor laser array l according to the output signals from those photodetecting elements 5a and 5b. |
