VOLUME MULTIPLEX HOLOGRAPHY RECORDING AND REPRODUCING METHOD

PURPOSE:To record and reproduce a plurality of holographies on a photosensi tive medium by changing a refraction index of such photosensitive medium 2 in the holography technology. CONSTITUTION:Interference fringes generated by interference between an object beam 7 which is a scattered beam from an object and a reference beam 4 which is non-scattered beam are recorded on a photosensitive medium having at least a pair of parallel planes and the reference beam is reproduced by irradiating the photosensitive medium only with the non-scattered beam. The scattered beam 7 is applied to one plane of the parallel planes, while the non-scattered beam 4 is applied to the other plane of parallel planes to record the interference fringes on the photosensitive medium 2 and change the refraction index of the photosensitive medium 2 with a refraction index control electrode 6 for the purpose of multiplex recording.
