PURPOSE:To prevent wasteful consumption of power and to obtain labor-saving by automatically stopping an operation of an air conditioner at the time of no residence in a dormitory for singles of a company's house for employees. CONSTITUTION:A key lock signal to be output from an entrance lock 4 with a key lock signal outputting function provided at an entrance door 2 and an operation monitor signal output from an air conditioner 8 are input to a signal conversion adapter 6, and an HA signal to be output from the adapter 6 is input to the conditioner 8. When the lock 4 is locked from the outdoor in case where a resident goes out, the HA signal is output when a locking signal ON (key lock signal) is output from the outdoor and the monitor signal indicating operating of the conditioner 8 is inputted from the conditioner 8 together with the locking signal ON from the outdoor to the adapter 6, the HA signal is input to the conditioner 8 only during operating, a power source of the conditioner 8 is turned OFF and the conditioner 8 is stopped.
