<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a sense amplifier which assures high speed and stable operation even when a bit line voltage level is low. CONSTITUTION:The PMOS transistor Tr6 has the source and drain common with the switching transistor Tr 2 with the gate connected with the bit line 2, while the PMOS transistor Tr 7 has the source and drain common with the switching transistor Tr4 with the gate connected with the bit line 1. Thereby, for example, when an output terminal out provides an 'H' level output (bit line 1 is 'H', bit line 2 is 'L'), the switching transistor Tr6 turns on before the switching transistor Tr2 turns on and thereby delay can surely made smaller than that when only the switching transistor Tr2 is used. This effect can also be realized when the 'L' level output is obtained from the terminal out (bit line 1 is 'L', bit line 2 is 'H').</p> |
