PURPOSE:To enhance positioning accuracy at the time of the dual-direction transfer of a member to be transferred by making it possible to easily adjust backlash quantity present in a transmission mechanism with high accuracy, by making it possible to alter the gap between the stopper provided to a traction body such as a wire and the contact part of the member to be transferred such as a carriage capable of being contacted with said stopper. CONSTITUTION:Even when a carriage 5 is transferred to both left and right directions, said carriage 5 does not move until a stopper 40 is contacted with an inner wall 5a or a movable contact part 53 and, in other words, backlash quantity of d-l is preliminarily imparted to the carriage 5 with respect to a wire 13 and, by setting the magnitude of d-l to an appropriate value, adjustment including backlash present in a transmission mechanism is enabled. Because the d-l value can be altered in a stepless manner within a predetermined range by rotating an adjust screw 54, dot shift at the time of dual-direction printing can be easily adjusted with high accuracy. |
