Disposable granule phacofragmentation instrument, applicable to the operation of cataract by the "lasso" technique. The instrument is comprised of an external cylinder (1), a piston (2), an axial cannula (6) and a thread (3). The fragmentation thread (3) is attached at one of its extremities to the piston (2), and the opposite extremity is attached to the sleeve of the cannula (6), thereby forming a lasso (5). The displacement of the piston (2) varies the size of the lasso (5) for cutting off the lens. |
