Prodn. of articles for everyday use and for building purposes comprises mixing cellulose, e.g. in powder form (as found in wallpaper paste), with cornflour and water, shaping the mixt., and solidifying the prod. by heating (baking). Also claimed is a material as above where the finished article is coated with water-glass.
