PURPOSE:To obtain a new low-toxic compound effective for prevention and therapy of mycosises such as candidiasis, aspergillosis, cryptococcosis and trichophytosis. CONSTITUTION:A compound (salt) of the formula (R<1> is a lower alkyl; R<2> and R<3> are each OH group which may be esterified; X is carboxyl which may be amidated). This compound (salt) can be synthesized by conducting a hydrolytic reaction, an acyl group transfer reaction or an acylation reaction of TAN-1771A of formula II and/or TAN-1771B of formula III. In addition, the compounds, TAN-1771A and B can be obtained by culturing a microorganism belonging to Bacillus. |
