PURPOSE:To facilitate the confirmation of limit time easily by generating an image signal of a time reference car which runs at a speed for reaching a goal coinciding with the limit time of a game while a generation timing is controlled in the image signal of the time reference wheel according to the running speed of own car. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 executes or controls a driving game according to a program stored in a ROM 3. An operator 6 to be operated by a player outputs an operation value. Furthermore, a CRT 9 performs a scanning of a video image signal to be outputted from a preference circuit 8 repeatedly to accomplish a display per one screen. An image signal generator 10 generates images of own car to be operated by a player, a background containing a running course and a time reference car which runs at a speed ensuring the reaching of a goal coinciding with the limit time of a game. In other words, the generation time is controlled in the image signal of the time reference car according to the running speed of the own car. Thus, the player can recognize allowance for the limit time easily relying on the time reference car. |
