PURPOSE:To realize production of a synchronization clock with high reliability in an inexpensive method when data are sent in several Mbps by using a television signal to send data and the synchronization clock. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal generating section 1 generates a composite synchronizing signal 13 required for a video signal, a color subcarrier signal 12, and a signal 12a whose frequency is twice that of the signal 12 or the like, a transmission clock generating section 2 applies gate processing to the signals and the result is inputted to a data transmission section 3 as a transmission clock 17. The transmission section 3 outputs transmission data 18 in synchronism with the signal 12a based on the clock 17. On the other hand, a video signal composition section 4 composites the signal 13 and the data 18 or the like to output a video signal 19, a modulator 5 converts the signal 19 into a television signal and sends the converted signal. A demultiplexer section 8 at the receiver side demultiplexes the signal 19 to generate a color subcarrier signal 20 and a signal 20a whose frequency is twice that of the signal 20 and a reproduction section 9 outputs received data 22. On the other hand, a clock recovery section 10 applies gate processing to the signal 20a, the synchronizing signal and the data 22 to recover the reception clock 21. |
