PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of forming and editing of a document by recognizing a printer print output image by a display image on a CRT screen when the line feed width, etc., is revised. CONSTITUTION:The data inputted from a key board 300 are stored in a text data storage mechanism 4 as the side of the text data, and further, the line feed widths of respective rows are stored in an every row new paragraph width storage mechanism 5. By providing two VRAMs 8, 9, a text picture and a printer print image display picture as usual are switched and displayed through one action. A process reading out the line feed widths of respective rows, taking out the text data by N rows, and shifting and superposing character dot patterns corresponding to respective rows taken out from a font ROM 3 by the new paragraph width for forming the printer print image picture is performed in a picture process mechanism 6. Further, when a character is corrected, by that a superposing process with the character of the row with less width is performed according to the line feed width of the row in which the character exists by the picture process mechanism 6, the matter that the character is chipped is prevented. |
