<p>The invention relates mainly to a sealing strip, especially for a motor vehicle, and to the method for manufacturing it. These objectives are achieved by incorporating, advantageously when extruding a sealing strip, especially in a weather strip or in a slideway strip, a flexible tubular duct (1) capable of undergoing transverse plastic deformations which is leaktight or substantially leaktight. Advantageously the tubular duct is a helical winding with contiguous turns of a metal wire.
