Insulating housing for plate type heat exchanger

The heat exchanger (2) has two half-shells (4,5) abutting each other at a dividing plane (8) extending obliquely between diagonally opposite corner regions (9,10) of the insulating housing (1). On the front side of the heat exchanger is located a wall part with inlets and outlets (3) belonging to the insulating housing approx. fitting the length and width of the heat exchanger. Pref. both half-shells are in different colours, e.g. red and blue.
